Mountain Aviation adds Learjet to fleet

9 January 2014

Mountain Aviation said it has added its first Bombardier aircraft–a Learjet 60–to its charter fleet as it launches a partnership with the Sun Valley Air Club of Sun Valley, Idaho.

Mountain Aviation is the air charter carrier overseeing flight operations for the innovative air club based in the legendary mountain resort community. The Lear 60 and a Piaggio Avanti II are the two initial aircraft dedicated to air club flights, and they are based at the Atlantic Aviation terminal at Hailey Friedman Airport. This eliminates repositioning charges to move a plane to pick up SVAC members in Sun Valley.

Mountain Aviation, founded in 1993, is the largest aircraft management and private jet charter company based in the Rocky Mountain Region. With bases in Denver, Eagle/Vail, Aspen, Fort Collins, Telluride as well as Boise and Sun Valley, Idaho, Mountain Aviation offers exceptional aircraft charter, management and maintenance services along with sales and acquisition services to discerning clients looking for unrivaled safety, service and value.
