Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC) (BMV: GAP) has announced preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of December 2013 compared to traffic figures for December 2012.
During December 2013, total terminal passengers increased 13.7% compared to the previous year. Domestic passenger traffic increased 15.5%, while international passenger traffic increased 10.6% compared to December 2012.
During the month of December, the following routes were opened: Hermosillo to Cancun, Mexicali to Cancun, Tijuana to Tuxtla Gutierrez and Guadalajara to San Antonio by Volaris; La Paz to Mazatlan and La Paz to Monterrey by VivaAerobus; Guanajuato to Atlanta and Guanajuato to Los Angeles by Delta Airlines; Guanajuato to San Francisco, Guadalajara to San Francisco and Morelia to San Francisco by Aeromexico; Hermosillo to Monterrey and Guadalajara to San Antonio by Interjet and Los Cabos to Hamilton by Canjet Airlines.
