Fast Park, an off-site airport parking company, said it opened its first Indiana facility near the Indianapolis International Airport on Friday, December 27.
The Indianapolis facility currently has 1,955 covered parking spaces. However, upon completion of phase two construction, it will have a total of 3,611. Like many of Fast Park´s other facilities located in 12 markets across the country, it incorporates many green initiatives. The facility uses a water reclamation system for irrigation purposes, low VOC materials, Green Guard label furnishings, and a geo-thermal heating system. Additionally, it will provide four charging stations for electric vehicle owners, and has the infrastructure to install solar panels on covered spaces in the future. Currently, the facility is going through the LEED certification process.
