Allianz grants USD10,000 to support national charities

Henrico-based Allianz Global Assistance USA said it has named the recipients of the second and final wave of its 2013 corporate giving program.

The Travel Aid Grant (TAG) program supports non-profit organizations whose project, program or initiative is enhanced or achieved through travel.

Allianz awarded three organizations a total of USD10,000 in grants bringing the program´s total to USD30,000 for 2013. Recipients are: Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center, Williamsburg, VA; Wilderness Inquiry, Minneapolis, MN; and Make a Wish, Greater Virginia Chapter.

The company has more than 12,000 employees who speak 40 different languages and work throughout the world with a network of 400,000 service providers and 118 correspondents covering 150 countries.
