Harris gets USD49m order for vehicular communication systems

Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) said it has received a USD49m order to provide a nation in the Middle East with integrated tactical communications.

Harris is providing this nation with advanced Falcon high-frequency, very-high-frequency, and multiband radios. These radios will be tightly integrated with vehicular intercom systems in support of a command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance network. The network will support military and security forces.

In connection with this order, Harris is supplying the RF-7800H wideband high-frequency radio; RF-7800V Combat Net Radio, RF-7800M Multiband Networking Radio and RF-7800I Intercoms Systems — all part of the Falcon III family.
