Northrop Grumman names new corporate lead executive

Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) said it has appointed Charles W. “Charlie” Lyon corporate lead executive for company business in Hampton, Va.

Lyon reports to Timothy C. Jones, vice president, aviation and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Lyon will replace the retiring Timothy A. Peppe.

In his new role, Lyon represents the company to customers in the eastern region including joint and Air Force commands across the continental United States and Europe.

Lyon joins Northrop Grumman after retiring from the Air Force with more than 32 years of service. He earned a bachelor´s degree in mathematics from The Citadel, Charleston, S.C. and a master´s degree in national security strategy from the National War College.
