Workday names new human resources officer

Workday, Inc. (NYSE: WDAY) said it has appointed Ashley Goldsmith as the company´s chief human resources officer.

Reporting directly to co-founder, and co-CEO Aneel Bhusri, Goldsmith has global responsibility for human resources, internal communications, and the Workday Foundation.

Goldsmith holds a master´s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a master´s degree in human resource development from Georgia State University, and a bachelor´s degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University.

Workday is a provider of enterprise cloud applications for human resources and finance. Founded in 2005, Workday delivers human capital management, financial management, and analytics applications designed for the world´s largest organizations.
