JBT promotes new controller

John Bean Technologies Corp. (NYSE: JBT) said that Megan Rattigan has been named controller for JBT Corp., effective December 1, 2013.

As controller, Rattigan will lead and manage JBT´s financial accounting policies, controls and reporting requirements.

Rattigan brings over 20 years of accounting, financial control and management experience. She originally joined FMC Technologies, Inc. in 2002 as a consultant. Since then, she has served in a variety of accounting, financial reporting, control and management roles within FMC Technologies, JBT´s previous parent company, as well as with JBT Corp. She holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is a certified public accountant and began her professional career in the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP in 1992.
