Ducommun gets contract from Parker Aerospace for Airbus A350 electronics

Ducommun Inc. (NYSE: DCO) said it has received a multiyear contract from Parker Hannifin Corp. (NYSE: PH) unit Parker Aerospace to produce complex printed circuit board assemblies for use in the fuel management system of the Airbus A350 family of commercial aircraft.

The award has a potential value in excess of USD20m over the contract period, and is expected to begin production in mid-2014.

Ducommun also has begun manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies for a retrofit fuel tank inerting system (FTIS) being deployed on various aircraft throughout the Airbus fleet.
