Kansas Bureau of Investigation updates criminal history search app

Kansas Bureau of Investigation has unveiled an updated version of its Kansas criminal history record search application.

Developed in collaboration with Kansas.gov, the enhanced application allows users to instantly conduct searches of criminal history records from smartphones, tablets or desktop computers.

The enhancements also incorporate KanAccess, a new Kansas.gov login process that allows users to manage their Kansas.gov services with a single sign-on. The enhancements to the mobile experience make searching with a tablet or smartphone simple and available anywhere.

The Information Network of Kansas Inc. is responsible for the oversight of the development of the official Web site for the state of Kansas, Kansas.gov. The Kansas Information Consortium builds, operates, maintains and markets Kansas.gov and is part of egovernment firm NIC´s (NASDAQ: EGOV) family of companies.
