AVG Technologies N.V. (NYSE: AVG) said it is the headline sponsor of the Child Internet Safety Summit 2014.
The Summit, which is recognized for bringing together senior advisors, government policy officials business and academic child online safety experts, will take place on July 3, 2014 in Westminster, London.
“Since sponsoring the Child Internet Safety Summit last year the online child safety debate has moved on leaps and bounds,” said Tony Anscombe, senior security evangelist at AVG Technologies. “As government officials make steps towards making the Internet a safer more regulated place for children, our main concern is ensuring that parents and education professionals understand the real world implications of these legislative changes.
