Delta Vacations launches Grenada packages

Atlanta US-based Delta Air Lines´ (NYSE: DAL) Delta Vacations unit said it is offering vacation packages for US travellers to the Caribbean island of Grenada.

Delta Vacations said its packages to Grenada go on sale Nov. 26 for travel beginning Jan. 4, 2014. Weekly nonstop service to Grenada is aboard Delta Air Lines from New York´s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Known as the Spice Island, Grenada has more than 45 beaches, historic forts and museums, and features a wide variety of activities including snorkeling, fishing, hiking, boating and whale-watching.

Delta Vacations said it offers one-stop shopping for vacation packages that combine Delta flights with hotel stays, rental car, sightseeing and entertainment, escorted tours and more.

A number of hotels and resorts will be offered through Delta Vacations, including Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort & Spa.

Delta Vacations is also offering ground transportation options, including airport-hotel transfers and rental car service. Tours and excursions are also available.
