JBT receives USD 9m Honolulu Airport equipment order

Chicago-based airport equipment maker JBT Corp (NYSE: JBT) said that its JBT AeroTech business has been awarded a contract valued at approximately USD 9m to supply gate equipment for the Honolulu International Airport.

The contract, placed by The State of Hawaii, includes the supply of Jetway passenger boarding bridges and JetPower ground power units.

JBT said that gate equipment is an integral part of the USD 2.3bn Hawaii Airports Modernization Program to renovate and expand the existing airport infrastructure.

The firm anticipates the installation to be completed during the second quarter of 2014.
