Business travel industry group Global Business Travel Association has issued a statement of support for US aviation authority the Federal Aviation Administration´s announced this week that it has determined that it is safe for airlines to allow the use of personal electronic devices during takeoff and landing.
The FAA said it is acting immediately to provide airlines with new guidance for implementing the changes.

The association claims 6,000 plus members, who manage over USD 340bn of global business travel and meetings expenditures annually.
