Aeroflot cuts prices for onboard Wi-Fi Internet

Russian carrier Aeroflot said it has launched its “Twice for two” campaign to allow passengers to use onboard Wi-Fi Internet at half price for two months.

Cost of this onboard service will be reduced from November, 1 till December, 31, 2013, the carrier said.

A corresponding agreement was reached with OnAir company, the provider of Internet access via Wi-Fi on board of Aeroflot aircraft. This will let Aeroflot almost halve the price of Wi-Fi Internet service.

Currently Aeroflot runs a programme of installing Wi-Fi Internet connection on board of its long-haul Airbus A330 and Boeing (NYSE: BA) B777 aircraft. It is planned that 19 aircraft will be equipped with such a system by the end of this year.
