Veeva Systems closes initial public offering

Veeva Systems Inc. (NYSE: VEEV) said it has closed its previously announced initial public offering of 15,001,750 shares of its class A common stock at a price to the public of USD20.00 per share, which included 1,956,750 shares issued upon the exercise in full of the underwriters´ option to purchase additional shares.

A total of 11,676,750 shares were sold by Veeva and a total of 3,325,000 shares were sold by certain selling stockholders. Veeva did not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders.

The shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Oct. 16, 2013 under the symbol “VEEV.”

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Pacific Crest Securities LLC; Stifel, Nicolaus & company, Inc.; Wells Fargo Securities, LLC; and Canaccord Genuity Inc. acted as co-managers.
