Indianapolis USA-based airline operator Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET) has posted preliminary passenger traffic results for September 2013.
The company said it generated 1.6bn revenue passenger miles in September, on 2.0bn available seat miles, both approximately the same as in September 2012.
Block hours were 5% greater than the same period in 2012.
Consolidated load factor of 82% was unchanged from September 2012. Republic Airways carried 7% more passengers in September than in the same period in 2012.
Republic Airways Holdings is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America.
The airlines operate a combined fleet of more than 285 aircraft and offer scheduled passenger service on over 1,600 flights daily to 145 cities in the US as well as to the Bahamas, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico and Turks and Caicos Islands under branded operations at Frontier, and through fixed-fee flights operated under airline partner brands.
Republic´s airline partner brands include American Eagle (OTC: AAMRQ), Delta Connection (NYSE: DAL), United Express (NYSE: UAL) and US Airways Express (NYSE: LCC).
