September traffic up for Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, SAB de CV (NYSE: PAC) (BMV: GAP) said that its total terminal passengers increased 8.4% in September 2013 compared to September 2012.

Domestic passenger traffic increased 9.0%, while international passenger traffic increased 6.7% compared to September 2012.

During the month of September, the following routes were opened: Guadalajara to Reynosa and Guadalajara to Torreon, both by VivaAerobus; and Guadalajara to Merida and Guadalajara to Tuxtla Gutierrez, both by Volaris.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico operates twelve airports throughout Mexico´s Pacific region, including the major cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana, the four tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo, and six mid-sized cities.

In February 2006, GAP´s shares were listed on the New York Stock Exchange and on the Mexican Stock Exchange.
