US-based aircraft brake control systems developer Crane Aerospace & Electronics and simulation and testing tools firm Applied Dynamics said they have agreed to work together to bring new technologies in a major upgrade of the Crane Aerospace & Electronics´ Simulation Laboratory.
Crane said it has used Applied Dynamics as a technical partner for hardware-in-the-loop, software development, and engineering services for over 20 years.
This new contract strengthens the relationship and will provide Crane with a facility to showcase what´s possible in simulated environments for brake control system development.
According to Applied Dynamics, the new capabilities will allow Crane to provide greater system integration and testing through fault insertion, in addition to the increased accuracy and fidelity of performance testing.
