Guidewire Software provides insurers new way to improve data availability

Guidewire Software, Inc. (NYSE: GWRE) reported it will add support for IBM (NYSE: IBM) DB2 Linux, UNIX and Windows database software for Guidewire ClaimCenter 8, expanding the database system options available to Guidewire ClaimCenter customers.

“We are pleased to expand our database support options for customers as they embark on their claims transformation journeys,” said Ben Brantley, chief technology officer, Guidewire Software. “In addition to offering customers the option of running on DB2, those insurers already running DB2 will now have the ability to implement ClaimCenter without needing to change their relational database management system. We are pleased to work with IBM to support our mutual customers in this way.”
