JetBlue plans New York-to-port of Spain, Savannah/Hilton Head nonstops

New York-based low-cost carrier JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU) plans to serve two in-demand destinations port of Spain Trinidad and Tobago and Savannah/Hilton Head with non-stop flights from New York´s JFK International Airport.

Twice-daily non-stop service between Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, convenient to both Georgia and South Carolina, and New York starts February 13, 2014. Flights are available for as low as USD 79 one way for travel between February 13 and March 31, 2014. Blackout dates apply.

JetBlue also plans to begin service to port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (POS) with one daily non-stop flight from New York on February 24, 2014. Additional service from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Fla. will begin on May 1, 2014 with one flight a day. These flights are subject to receipt of government approval. Flights will be available for sale in the coming weeks.

Savannah/Hilton Head will be JetBlue´s 83rd BlueCity.

Destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean now make up almost one-third of JetBlue´s route network.

JetBlue carries 29m customers a year to 79 cities in the US, Caribbean and Latin America with more than 700 daily flights.
