HP to modernize and manage mission-critical systems for DoD centre

HP (NYSE: HPQ) Enterprise Services said it has been awarded a task order by the US Department of Defense´s (DoD) Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) to support and enhance four personnel security and assurance systems, and to provide development assistance for the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).

With this three-year, USD56m task order, HP will provide applications management services to monitor, maintain and enhance the joint personnel adjudication system (JPAS), defense central index of investigations, improved investigative records repository and the secure web fingerprint transmission. These systems provide comprehensive personnel security management for all DoD employees, military personnel, civilians and DoD contractors.
