Finnair to raise EUR 150m form bond sale

Finland´s flag carrier Finnair Plc said it has resolved to issue a EUR 150 m fixed rate unsecured bond.

According to the carrier, the funds will be used for general corporate purposes. The bond matures in five years and pays an annual coupon of 5%.

The bond offering was significantly oversubscribed and allocated to more than 100 investors, the carrier said. The company will said it will apply for the listing of the bond on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd.

Danske Bank A/S and Pohjola Bank plc act as lead managers for the transaction.

Finnair has headquarters in Vantaa and its main hub at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
