Finland-based carrier Finnair Plc said it will redeem an outstanding share of the EUR 120m hybrid bond ISIN Code FI4000005798 issued on 18 September 2009 together with accrued interest.

The outstanding share amounts to EUR 52.35m, the carrier said.

Finnair said the redemption will be made on 7 October 2013 in accordance with the terms and conditions of the hybrid bond.

In November 2012 Finnair issued a new EUR 120m hybrid bond. At the same time, Finnair repurchased by a public tender offer EUR 67.65m of the hybrid bond originally issued in 2009.

After this latest transaction only the EUR 120m hybrid bond issued in November 2012 will remain outstanding.
