Tangoe Q2 2013 revenue up 28%

Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNGO) reported its total revenue for the second quarter was USD46.4m, an increase of 28% on a year-over-year basis.

Recurring technology and services revenue was USD41.4m, an increase of 29% on a year-over-year basis. Strategic consulting, software licenses and other services revenue contributed the remaining USD5.0m of total revenue for the second quarter of 2013.

GAAP operating income for the second quarter was USD0.8m, compared to a GAAP operating income of USD0.5m for the second quarter of 2012. Non-GAAP operating income for the second quarter was USD6.8m, compared to USD4.2m for the second quarter of 2012.

Net Income: GAAP net income for the second quarter was USD0.6m, compared to USD0.3m of net income for the same period last year. GAAP diluted income per share for the second quarter was USD0.01, based on 40.2m weighted-average diluted shares outstanding, compared to income per share of USD0.01, based on 41.1m weighted-average diluted shares outstanding, for the same period last year.
