Lieutenant-Colonel (ret) Jean-Marc Dufour joins board of directors of CATSA

The Canadian Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities the Honourable Denis Lebel and the Honourable Steven Fletcher, Canada’s Minister of State (Transport), on Wednesday announced the appointment of Lieutenant-Colonel (retired) Jean-Marc Dufour to the board of directors of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA).

Dufour will serve on the board for a three-year term, with effect from 1 December 2011.

Currently manager of the Bagotville Airport, Dufour has held several appointments within the North American Air Defence Command (NORAD) and served as chief, Air Defense Operations Center and assistant command director of the NORAD Command Center, as well as Canadian defence attache for Central America and the Caribbean at the Canadian Embassy in Mexico.
