British Airways confirms Christmas items allowed on aircraft

British Airways on Friday announced what Christmas items are and aren’t allowed on its aircraft this festive period.

Unwrapped Christmas presents may be taken as hand luggage if they do not exceed the hand baggage allowance. Christmas crackers are not allowed on any flight out of London City Airport and on other services a maximum of two boxes per passenger of commercially manufactured crackers in the original packaging for personal use are permitted. These should be placed in checked baggage only.

Party poppers and sparklers are not allowed on any British Airways aircraft, either in hand or checked luggage.
